Let's speak Korean(新版+英韩) 010/2
~ 에 가요
Lisa: OK, our focus today is blank blank 에 가요. So you will put in a place, like the school, or the library. So가요 means to go to somewhere. Now let’s make some sentences, using blank에 가요.
Miriam: 노래방에 가요.
Lisa: Should know this one. 노래방 is the Karaoke place.
Jason: 집어 가요.
Lisa: I like that one, to go home. I just want to go home after this. This time let’s take the place, and use just verb , take for an example, 학교 is school, 학교에 가요. And you say what do you do at school? For example, we study at school, so we say 공부하러 가요. OK, together? Let’s try this out. Oh, I forgot one important thing. I got the hammer. And everyone get something wrong, I get to hit not you, not you, but Stephen!!! OK, thank you very much.
Stephen: Wait, wait, wait some minutes, is they’re wrong, I get hit?
Lisa: OK, I’ll give you the first place, 백화점. 백화점 is the department store.
Miriam: 쇼핑하러 가요.
Lisa: She says she’s going to go for shopping. OK, next one, 노래방.
Jason: 노래하러 가요.
Lisa: OK, next one, 도서관, which is library.
Miriam: 공부하러 가요.
Lisa: And 농구장, 농구 is basketball, and 장 is stadium.
Jason: Emmm, 농구러 가요?
Lisa: (singing while hitting Steve) I love you, I love you, and baby I love you, I love you.
Stephen: Is that your purpose?
Jason: I didn’t know how to say.
Lisa: You going to do the basketball, that is 농구하러 가요.
빨리 / 빨래 / 빼다
Lisa: Today we use 빨래하러 가요. I think double ㅂ, is ㅃ, is really hard for foreigner to say.
Stephen: And I think we got three words, and going over today in the past few days. We got fast/hurry 빨리, not to be confused with laundry 빨래, and we also have 빼다, we talked about losing weight.
WRAP IT UP
L: 어디 가요?
S: ……
L: 뭐 하러 가요?
L: 도대체 어디 가요?
S: 지금 조깅하고 있어요!
I like Korean and want to make friends with everyone who like it as well.
